To help us stop the spread of this virus, please review the protocols outlined below; the guidance is based on the most current information available about the virus from federal, state and local public health officials. Effective immediately, the following supplemental safety measures and restrictions regarding vendor access are being implemented: We ask that anyone with a cough, fever, or any other illness, who is not entering to receive medical care, refrain from entering our facilities. Vendors should not be onsite unless their work is required for the provision of patient care that cannot be done virtually. If you are not delivering a product or servicing a device/equipment, you will not be permitted. Only vendors who have been called in for a service request will be admitted. If you are unsure about your admittance, work with the Kaiser Permanente contact who requested your visit to ensure appropriate approvals. Vendors will be required to have their temperatures checked before entering any patient care areas. Temperatures will be checked when entering the medical center. We require you to follow the established infection prevention measures to keep our patients, health care workers, and business partners safe: Perform hand hygiene often - utilize alcohol-based hand sanitizer or wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands. Sneeze or cough into a tissue, or the inside of your elbow. Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces you touch frequently. Maintain social distancing of 6 feet away from others. Do not enter any restricted areas or procedural rooms unless requested by a physician. Limit movement throughout facilities to only areas essential to conduct your business service. While in a patient care area, vendors are required to wear appropriate PPE which will be provided by the KP facility. Each individual medical center will provide their specific guidelines and protocols for vendors. We thank you for your partnership during this evolving situation.
